Through social programs and pediatric therapy, we take a holistic approach to help children and families grow in confidence and connection.
Functional Friends Foundation, our nonprofit arm, aims to support special needs families through social groups and special events to cultivate meaningful experiences and genuine friendships.
Functional Friends Therapy offers pediatric therapy services for ages 0-21 in Dayton, Ohio. Our individualized sessions are designed to increase independence and build meaningful real-world skills.
At Functional Friends, we provide individualized therapy and community-based support with the goal of building functional skills, emotional regulation, and meaningful social connections for everyday life. We help children and young adults build real-life skills and meaningful connections through personalized, relationship-driven support — and we aren’t afraid to have a lot of fun in the process!
Your generous support helps us continue offering inclusive, therapist-led groups and programs — free of charge to our community. If you’d like to partner with us and make a difference through donating, you can do so below (and we thank you so much!).
P.S. — Functional Friends Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization, which means your donation qualifies for a tax deduction. Everybody wins!
“My son is diagnosed as Autistic and with SPD and we see Ashley weekly for OT, and love her like family. She has truly made a beautiful impact on our life and my son adores her. We also do the weekly group play with Ashley and Brooke, and highly recommend it to families looking for ways to get your child social interaction. I’ve also met friends through this program, just sitting and chatting with the other moms. I love it and both my boys love it too!”
